—Insurance
How Pricing Works With Your Insurance
No insurance is needed to join. We do not bill insurance for your membership or visits, but you can keep your insurance for care outside Sarova Health, such as hospital stays, imaging and specialists.
A PPO or HMO through work
Keep your plan and add longer visits, no copays and direct access to your doctor. With an HMO, check whether you need an in-network primary care doctor for referrals.
A high-deductible plan
A strong pairing. Use HSA funds for your membership. Member lab prices and included generic medications often cost less than paying toward your deductible.
Medicare
Medicare patients are welcome. We do not bill Medicare, and Medicare does not cover the monthly fee.
No insurance
You are welcome to join. Membership includes primary care, discounted labs and the medication benefit. We can help you find cash-pay prices for imaging or specialist care.

Member prescription benefit
Members have access to more than 1,000 generic maintenance medications at no cost, delivered to your door. Urgent care medications can be picked up free at a local pharmacy.

Specialist consultations at no extra cost
When a question calls for a specialist's input, Dr. Patel can consult a board-certified specialist through our network of more than 130 specialties at no extra cost to members. If an in-person visit is the right next step, we will help coordinate the referral.

Direct Primary Care Pricing FAQs
How much does direct primary care cost at Sarova Health?
Membership is $125 per month plus a one-time $99 enrollment fee. That covers unlimited visits with your doctor, with no copays or per-visit charges.

Is there a contract?
No. There is no long-term contract. Membership is month to month. If you leave and decide to rejoin later, the $99 enrollment fee will apply again.

What is not included in the membership?
Lab tests are billed at member prices, plus a $5 collection fee per draw. Imaging, specialist visits, hospital care and emergency care are not included. Many members keep insurance for these.

Can I use my HSA to pay?
Yes. HSA funds can be used for your membership.

Can I see a doctor without insurance in Myrtle Beach?
Yes. You do not need insurance to join Sarova Health. Your membership covers your primary care visits.
